Coffee & food here are reallllly good. High quality ingredients and creative entrees like the potato pancake, which is a definite 10/10. We came for breakfast our first morning in Carmel by the Sea and enjoyed our experience so much, we came back the next morning too. *Pro tip is arrive early for breakfast/brunch because their in-demand items can sell out and there can be long wait times for tables. A recommendation for the owners/management - I'd love to see is a better reservation/table management system as the lines can be long and disorganized. We made reservations online from the Stationæry website and were told the restaurant wasn't even using that sytem when we got there. Otherwise, service once we were seated was solid.

Got seated immediately outside in the glass house with our doggo by the friendliest host! It was raining which was amazingly romantic and fairy tale like. We had the seasonal latte and a vanilla latte to start. Never had better. Ordered the fruit and cheese plate with local honey. Fresh, juicy berries and cheese dipped in the honey really hit the spot. This is a must visit spot when in Carmel.

Stationaery in Carmel, California, is an absolute gem! We made the trip down from San Jose, it was well worth it. The atmosphere is cozy and fits perfectly with Carmel's charming vibe. Though we missed out on the famous potato pancake, the rest of the menu more than made up for it. We ordered the Yogurt bowl as well as the steak and eggs, and both dishes were bursting with flavor. The chef's attention to detail really shows, with every bite being fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. Service was quick and attentive, the quality of the food and overall experience made it worth every penny. If you're spending the weekend in Carmel, I highly recommend stopping by Stationaery for a memorable meal!

The Lobster Roll was well worth the hour wait! I didn't know they took reservations, otherwise I would have made one! I really wanted to try their potato pancake, but they had just ran out. The Chilaquiles was pretty good with plenty of sauce, sour cream, chorizo & avocado. The Lobster Roll did not disappoint!! There were large chunks of lobster. Real lobster. Not langostino, like they use at many other places. Seasoned to perfection. Even the potato salad was well composed with celery, herbs, apple & mayo. I enjoyed the seasonal rosemary & honey latte while he loved the Alvarado Street Tropical IPA. It's a pretty tight space, but there are a good amount of tables outside. Service was friendly and attentive. 2-hour street parking in the area.
